The Reo Diner is a great place to go for some hot coffee, a nosh after temple or church, it's a place to stretch your legs for a quite lunch. Now the Reo fulfills your greatest culinary expectations. Well, we try. We have revamped our food to better serve our community. We are going green. We are going sustainable. Oh, yeah.
It was a leap of faith, but we came out on top. We decided
to change our menu to introduce organic produce and grass fed meats. We get
fresh dairy products from local farms. The
food is tasty, fresh, and without chemicals.
We teamed up with some local heavyweights who believe in
sustainable living and good tasting food.
·
McHale's
Farm- Bob McHale Sr & Jr provide a wide variety
of vegetables, field fruit, herbs
and medicinal plants in a
sustainable organic farming approach.
· D'Amore Creamery - Produce very high quality local food using
sustainable low input agricultural practices. Their principal product is cheese from grassfed cows
on certified organic land. They
offer fresh cheeses like Buttercup Brie
and have Asiago that is 8 months
aged. They also sell homemade yogurt, butter, and honey from their in-house
beekeeper Ryan.
·
Walnut
Grove Farms- Use organic methods to produce happy and
healthy pasture raised lamb, heritage turkey, cows, chicken and eggs without the use of antibiotics, growth hormones, pesticides,
herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. Their cows, lambs and poultry are on
pasture every day.
If
you stop by city hall for the farmers market, take a moment to visit their
stalls. They have been providing great products to the Woodbridge community for
25 years.
